Associate Category Program Manager
Job Description
The Associate Category Program Manager is a full-time position supporting marketing programming within the broader Retail Marketing organization. This team member will work in close partnership with category merchants and internal marketing teams to meticulously execute & facilitate process for weekly promotions. This team member must be detail oriented, managing multiple promotion periods and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in Austin, TX with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with merchandising and internal marketing teams.
- Manage promotional asset build out using proprietary promo tools for deployment.
- Ensure accuracy across all program and promotion deliverables and assets.
- Support execution of assigned monthly & seasonal promotional programs & initiatives.
- Support user testing and user story capture for development of new tech solutions.
- Support process development and optimization for promotions program.
- Supports promotional coordination meetings to track project schedules, including timelines and expected deliverables.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Strong business acumen
- Familiar with marketing concepts in a retail environment.
- Familiar with how marketing and related communications strategies and tactics are adapted to varied and diverse media platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills
- Responds promptly and accurately to internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Understands necessity of tailoring communication to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Supports team and project activity as assigned.
- Impacts the quality and timeliness of own work.

- BA/BS degree 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
