What You'll Do:

As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our pricing strategies, using data to shape decisions that impact the Whole Foods Market experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure our pricing, promotions, and product assortments are aligned with our core values of quality, transparency, and sustainability.

  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with team members to develop pricing strategies that drive sales and customer loyalty while ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
  • Analyze and Advise: Leverage data to generate insights that influence pricing decisions, product performance, and customer behavior. Your analysis will directly impact pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Help shape the direction of our pricing initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, product assortment, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Optimize Performance: Develop tools and processes that enhance the productivity of our stores and ensure that our pricing strategies align with customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Lead Change: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of pricing strategies and change management efforts, supporting both corporate and regional objectives.

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone who has a knack for turning numbers into actionable business insights and loves working collaboratively across different teams.

  • Retail Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail business, including pricing strategies, merchandising, operations, and space planning.
  • Analytical Skills: You’re proficient with data analysis and can translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Tech Savvy: Experienced with retail software solutions (POS, pricing, assortment management, etc.) and advanced in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey insights in a way that engages a variety of stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and driving results that align with Whole Foods Market's mission.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive success.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 2-4 years of experience in a retail or pricing analysis role.
