The Role:

We're seeking a collaborative and analytical professional to join our pricing team. You'll bridge the gap between data, and business strategy, working with diverse teams to enhance our pricing tools and processes. This role offers the opportunity to influence pricing decisions that affect millions of customers while working in our vibrant Store Support office in Austin, TX.

You are:
You will embody a mix of hard and soft skills, with the ability to dive into data and effectively communicate with non-technical business partners. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders, from pricing analysts to merchant teams, analyzing data and developing tools that support pricing decisions. Your day might include leading user testing sessions, documenting processes, or working with external partners to enhance our pricing systems. You bring analytical proficiency, retail experience, and exceptional communication skills.

"This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week."

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Pricing  Team Members and internal and external Product teams in the development and support of Price Creation Tools, workflows and processes.
  • Get subject matter expertise on pricing steps in the category pricing processes, in order to define use cases, scenarios, test cases etc.
  • Be knowledgeable in the underlying data inputs such as cost, competitor, current price, elasticity, etc., to be able to reproduce issues, explain user requirements and perform user demos.
  • Lead meetings for pricing tool specific User Acceptance Testing, bug resolution, feature understanding with Product Team, Category Pricing Analysts, and Merchant Users.
  • Facilitate detailed communication with internal and external tool partners to resolve issues or future enhancements.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, training, and SOPs for Pricing Products, tools, and processes.
  • Support, help develop, and test analytical tools to better utilize regular pricing, promotion, and other merchandising levers that drive top and bottom line, traffic, conversion, and loyalty.
  • Perform routine data analyses, integrating and evaluating data to derive merchandising-related insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of retail analytics experience.
  • Experience with third-party price optimization software and/or project management methodologies a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, and database reporting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-starting mentality, and a positive attitude.
