Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee environmental monitorng program and other swabbing programs as required to conform to GMP, HACCP, FSMA and food safety plan guidelines
- Grow and evolve the QA processes.
- Monitor all SSOPs and update frequently as business or the USDA dictate, including cross training TL’s and TMs on SSOP open.
- Develop and write HACCP. FSMA & Food safety plans.
- Audit and certify daily control logs, ensuring that records show compliance.
- Manage any applicable outside suppliers.
- Act as the primary liaison for all internal and external quality issues (guest complaints, USDA, FDA).
- Monitor performance and competencies of QA TMs, provide leadership coaching and development.
- Execute swabs for microbiologic test and monitor sanitation walk-throughs.
- Uphold all Whole Foods Market and USDA standards, including HACCP and FSMA programs and work closely with USDA inspector.
- Communicate department concerns to Facility Team Leader or Associate Facility Team Leader and cultivate inter-department relationships.
- Manage Pest Control Program.
- Follow, comply with, and enforce established procedures, including health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

- Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently with little supervision. Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
