This isn’t just about keeping the wheels turning-this is about contributing to our mission of nourishing people and the planet with the highest standards in mind.This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week.
What You'll Do:
- Be the Data Pro: You’ll maintain a deep understanding of Whole Foods Market’s merchandising processes, ensuring that the flow of product data is accurate, complete, and on time-every time. Your work will help shape the way our stores look and feel.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with teams to improve space and floor planning processes, contribute to best practices, and drive efficiency. You’ll actively participate in shaping the future of how we use technology to create the best store experiences for our customers.
- Solve Problems: Whether it’s troubleshooting or resolving issues, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring that our floor plans and planograms align perfectly with store goals and operational needs.
- Shape the Future: Play an active role in User Acceptance Testing for new features in our floor planning software, helping us evolve and improve the tools that keep our operations running smoothly.
- Train & Support: Lead the charge on educating and empowering teams across the company with the tools and knowledge they need to use our floor planning systems effectively.

Your Experience:
- Experience in Retail or Merchandising: You’ve worked in space planning, floor planning, or merchandising (1-3 years) and are familiar with the fast-paced world of retail operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
