Senior Program Manager, Supplier Marketing & Advertising
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead key programs and projects to help grow supplier marketing and advertising revenue at Whole Foods Market (WFM). This role will be responsible for partnering with WFM brands to strategize their marketing investments across our omni-channel portfolio of shopper marketing and advertising opportunities. This role will also lead cross-functional initiatives focused on developing internal and external Supplier Marketing program insights and leveraging these insights to socialize the ROI/KPIs of these programs. Key stakeholder teams include Suppliers, Category Merchandising, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, Product Management, Category Marketing, Promo Marketing, and eCommerce. This role reports into the Senior Team Leader, Supplier Marketing & Advertising. We are looking for a strategic, critical thinker with strong business acumen and communication skills who obsesses over customers, earns trust with stakeholders, dives deep into business metrics and processes, and consistently delivers results.
This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week.
Core Responsibilities:
- Engages with brands and presents in 1-to-1 and 1-to-many venues, overviewing strategic omni-channel opportunities and articulating the value programs provide.
- Acts as supplier POC for assigned categories and leads strategic planning for a specific subset of suppliers.
- Uses data-driven learnings and customer insights to recommend and implement evolving product and business strategies that drive mutually beneficial outcomes for Whole Foods, suppliers, and customers.
- Partners with Marketing Analytics and Consumer Insights to improve supplier facing reporting and develop internal program level reporting and benchmarking.
- Studies program performance and crafts value statements to convey ROI/KPIs of supplier marketing and advertising programs.
- Develops and executes internal quarterly campaign performance share-outs, socializing program successes and opportunities to merchant audiences.
- Partners with Amazon Advertising teams to be voice of WFM and supplier in development of campaign KPI insights and messaging.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- BA/BS degree and 4-6+ years of experience in shopper marketing, retail media, or other relevant roles at an established retailer, CPG company, or media organization.
- Strong business acumen and a proven track record delivering business results through high impact marketing programs.
- Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable strategies, plans, and objective insights to inform future planning.
- Flexibility and initiative to identify operational gaps and drive improvements, even outside of core responsibilities.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning stakeholders across priorities, and thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Expertise in B2B and B2C communications with a keen eye for effective messaging.
- Communicates written information in a clear, structured, and concise manner.
- Ability to build strong relationships across diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
